Why I do what I do.
Here is a little-known fact about me. Flash mobs, a cappella groups and volunteer choir groups bring me to tears. My kids think it is funny. I get happy tears every time. Do you know why?
These are groups of individuals tapping into their authentic selves, choosing to co-create with others and using their “superpowers” for a common purpose. There is intention, and there is direct impact on the world. It gives me hope, joy and inspiration.
We want to be true. We want to contribute. We want to have impact.
I have been very fortunate over the last 20 years to strategize and effect change with executive leaders, business owners, entrepreneurs, and creatives with a vision to make an impact. I have been humbled by the collaboration, the creativity, and the growth that happens under a strong purpose and a solid foundational structure.
This is what I keep learning - when there is meaning, connection and a clear path to results, the sky is the limit and the ripple effects are boundless. We want to lead from a true place. We want to know we are having an impact in our work, business, family, and community.
When you change and grow for the better, so do I.
Something unexpected happened while working with these amazing people. Being a part of their transformation became part of MY transformation. Each business, each life opened another door of my personal journey, giving me permission to lean into my true north. I quickly realized that if I was learning and growing from their transformation, so were others.
Impact. It's possible.
We have impact. Our choices, actions and reactions have a real effect on our family, our business, and our community. Now, more than ever, is the time to be intentional about our lives. It is time to replace clutter and noise with clarity and focus so the impact we make is intentionally good.
I created True North Solutions, LLC to invest in leaders and visionaries with purposeful dreams. I became a business and personal coach and consultant to continue to make my impact AND to encourage visionaries and life leaders to make theirs.
